Jamar Hornsby had the dream. A young man who had a full ride to play college football. Even better, for a rising Florida Gators team in one of (if not the) best conferences (the SEC) in college football. Act One. He used the credit card of a dead woman. The dead woman just happened to be the girlfriend of his fellow Gator. Dismissed from the team. While in JuCo, he catches the eye of a Coach (who I believe recruited him previously) and is offered a scholarship. What happens? Act two. A fight at a local fast food place. The result was his parole violation and being kicked off another team in the SEC.
Remember Willie Williams? He was another guy with incredible talent but his decisions wrecked him too. I knew this would be a problem when he not only got in a fight but set off a fire extinguisher in a hotel. Bad enough on its own right? Well this happened on his OFFICIAL visit to Flroida. He leaves Miami and goes to Louisville only to get the boot because of possession of weed. When it was all said and done, he winds up at Union College of the NAIA. Now, after his NFL dreams are all be dead because of a burglary charge (stealing $18,000 in cash and merchandise).
